Visual Inspections

A Visual Inspection is an inspection looking over the overall installation, standing back from the enclosures, cable runs and glanding.

The person doing the inspection will look for missing items and labelling, and possibly incorrect equipment installed.

The person doing the inspection will also look at the general condition of apparatus, which may have deteriorated due to weathering or operational damage.

This type of inspection can be done on live equipment, as there is no need to open live enclosure covers.
